So…. haven’t heard back, but I assume that my order was switched at 2Filter.com from the LEE Big Stopper to the HiTech Pro 10x ND filter. I’ve seen good things about the new HiTech Pro filter. It’s a little thinner than the LEE but it’s made of resin instead of glass. From what I’ve also read that should make it more durable.
Want to get this sometime to hold filters – looks like it’ll keep them safe.
Put a order into Amazon for a couple things. Some extension tubes, wrist strap and a couple adapters to see if I can get the LEE filter holder to fit on a few of my other lenses. The order was less than $30 for everything – if I had gotten ‘branded’ items then it probably would have cost over $100 for everything. Bargain shopping – the reviews for all this stuff was great, and none of it critical enough to warrant the name branded stuff.
